Hey, I’m Alana Gunn. YOUR GO-TO DESIGNER & CREATIVE STRATEGISTMeet the Gunn behind your brand.
I’ve spent 15+ years working inside small businesses (and I’ve also built a few of my own along the way), so I understand the ins and outs of it… from both sides. I understand what it feels like when you’re trying to make endless decisions, keep things moving, and run a business at the same time.

My Strategy.
For many small business owners, the process of building a brand and website can easily become overwhelming and drag on way longer than you expected.
It’s easy to get stuck in the mind maze of DIY design work. You might think “it will just be a quick task”, but it somehow turns into a full identity crisis before you know it.
This causes delays and can cost you time, momentum, and sometimes even missed income.
So I keep things simple. My approach breaks the branding process into clear, bite-sized chunks so you can move forward with confidence and not sit in the DIY maze for months.
1. Start with foundations first
→ something you can use straight away
→ look professional from day one
→ gets your foundational essentials in place
→ start showing up and making income sooner
→ helps you focus on growing your business, not building assets
2. Refine & build as you grow
→ strengthen your brand as your business becomes clearer
→ refine based on what your business actually needs (not making assumptions)
→ evolve your visuals and website as your offers develop
→ build only what’s useful as you grow
3. Consistent support
→ keep your brand consistent and looking professional as your business evolves
→ support for launches, updates, and new work as needed
→ someone who already understands you, your business and brand style
→ help when things shift, not just at the start

"I can honestly say she Is an absolute force — in the best way."I had the pleasure of working with Alana during her time running her own print studio, and I can honestly say she is an absolute force — in the best way. Always on the ball, incredibly efficient, and a brilliant communicator, she kept everything running seamlessly, no matter how many moving parts were involved.
Beyond her organisational skills, it was her creative direction that really stood out. She has an exceptional eye for design and consistently delivered innovative, on-point work that inspired both clients and collaborators.

I like to keep things simple.
You don’t need everything figured out just yet. I’ll guide the process and help you make decisions as we go.
It’s structured enough to keep things moving along, but flexible enough that it doesn’t feel rigid.
-
Because momentum matters more than perfection.
It’s harder to grow and learn from something that isn’t out in the world yet.
Getting clear and usable foundations in place means you can start showing up, testing, and building as you grow.
-
Yes it can.
A lot of people I work with are already running their business; they’ve just never gotten out of the DIY zone.
I’ll do a sense check first to see if we are a right fit.

Squarespace and Shopify are my go to’s.
They’re simple to manage yourself and don’t require technical upkeep just to make small updates.
From experience, ease of use matters more long term than anything else.

My 3-stage approach is strategically created to help small businesses get off the ground sooner and is built for momentum.
We make clear decisions, move things forward, and refine and build once it’s in use. (rather than spending a long time perfecting everything up front)
If you prefer a slower, more exploratory process with extended development time, lots of back and forth, then a longer-form branding or website project would be a better fit.
